Signs of Illness in Your Pet
While pets are known for their ability to hide signs of illness, there are some physical and behavioral changes that might be cause for concern. It’s important that you contact your vet if you observe any of these issues at home (especially if they are ongoing):
- Decreased appetite
- Decreased interest in playing and socializing
- Sudden weight loss
- Blood in urine or stool
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Weakness or lethargy
- Urinating less frequently and in smaller amounts
- Coughing
